Let's look at an example of administering the WMT with an adult learner. This video is from the Assessment Strategies and Reading Profiles (ASRP) section of LINCS (2002-2019) that was created to provide research-based assessment strategies for use in improving reading instruction for adult education learners.

Watch the following assessment of a learner on Levels 4 & 5 of the WMT. This video will give you a good idea of the assessor's role and how a learner might provide evidence of knowing each word presented.
